Consists of three manuscript volumes of Ibbett's poetry, a related letter, and 6 photogravures: "The Poems of William Joseph Ibbett in Four Books," holograph manuscript (258, i-v, pp.) in bound volume, finished 12 March 1903, dedicated to A.H. Bullen, 28 February 1907; "Some Book-Plates of W.J. Ibbett," 4-line poems in small notebook (50 leaves), written 20 December 1915, dedicated to A.H. Bullen; "A TriflerĀ²s Annual (Third Year)," poetry in small notebook (72 leaves), written 27 November 1917, dedicated to A.H. Bullen; ALS by Edith I. Hopkins to A.H. Bullen, 20 December 1916; photogravures (6 copies) of elderly bearded man, presumably Ibbett.

Ibbett, a prolific but "unfashionable" English poet, worked in the General Post Office. Many of his works were published privately, either printed by himself on his own press or sometimes, as shown here, in small manuscript editions. A.H.
